The problem
Kodi prepares students for university admission, Costa Rica's national tests and COSEVI driving licenses, on Android and iOS.
What I did
01 / 03
I took it from design to production.
A NestJS REST API on PostgreSQL and Redis with 44 modules documented in OpenAPI, a React Native app with Expo and an admin panel in Next.js.
02 / 03
I integrated Google Play and App Store payments.
Through webhooks with idempotent BullMQ jobs, so a redelivery never records the same order twice.
03 / 03
I maintain about 6,600 backend test cases.
Unit and E2E with Jest, that run on GitHub Actions. Errors are monitored with Sentry.
Results
- Over 3,000 users on Android and iOS.
- Covered by El Financiero and NTG Costa Rica.
