The Problem
University students spend a disproportionate amount of time adjusting formatting instead of focusing on content. Recurring mistakes in writing objectives, APA 7 citations, and document structure slow down the thesis process and increase revision cycles.
The Solution
Invenia is a web platform where students create their thesis (TFG) with AI assistance, while enforcing strict compliance with the university’s official template and APA 7 formatting rules. The student provides their own AI API key, keeping operational costs low and the model flexible.
Key Features
- Section-based editor — The document is structured as a navigable tree following the official template: preliminaries, chapters 1–9, references, and appendices. Each section has its own editor with auto-save.
- AI-powered writing tools — Generate drafts, improve wording, extend or reduce text, add APA 7 citations, and extract content from uploaded documents (PDF/DOCX).
- AI research — The student requests a topic, and the AI researches and fills the corresponding thesis sections automatically.
- Real-time validation — Indicators per section (OK / Review needed) enforce rules for abstracts, objectives, and formatting constraints.
- Export — PDF and DOCX output with proper numbering, table of contents, indices, and APA 7 formatting applied.
- Auth & onboarding — Email/password, Google, and Microsoft login. A wizard guides the student through initial setup and metadata (title, degree, campus, year).
